hour passes moving us closer to the eagles show down. a live look at the site of super bowl 52. tonight every eagles fan is hoping this will be the home of the birds first super bowl win. we're bringing you live team coverage tonight from across philadelphia and minnesota. we'll begin with nbc 10s tim furlong who is also live in minneapolis tonight. fans are just starting to take over the city, i love it. >> yeah, some people are asking where all of the fans, and i say the weather stinks, they're not out and about, but they're coming later in the week. you're not going to find many other here looking at super bowl rings because we don't have them yet, but eagles fans are making their presence felt. >> we're excited to be here in minneapolis. >> the eagles mascot is now in

historic eagles season, and i asked him why isn't the nfl draft coming back to philadelphia this year? >> for our philly fans, this season sort of heart ache and then redemption. carson wentz gets injured. nick foles stepped up in a way that no one expected. it has to be great to see that story line. >> i go back to last season where they finish in last place. nfc's. and i think that is what the game of football is all about. it is about persevering. i think that is why it is such a great ride for our fans. they have that hope in the beginning. there will be a period of time for challenges, i think that is a great thing for fans and the

let's bring in glenn hurricane schwartz. >> i don't think there will be too many people outside doors at 6:30 on sunday night. maybe after that time will there will be people flowing into the streets. that was at midnight. during the day, temperatures were falling. right now 24 in philadelphia, nine in mt. pocono. we're still seeing gusts of 25 to 30 miles per hour making it feel like five, ten below zero in mt. pocono. they have nothing on minneapolis. nine degrees, feels like in dover. that is cold. then for tomorrow, it is cold all day. barely 30 degrees.

the clouds start to come in, and on sunday that's when the storm approaches from the west. if anything falls in the morning, it would be know that is light but it could stick a little bit. if we get any snow in philadelphia, it will be brief, it will be light, it will memt, and then here comes the warmer weather and the rain. by the time we get to game time, we may be at the heaviest rain of the day. we're in the 30s, so it is just wet roads. temperatures in the 40s with rain. by the time the cold air comes in we clear out and we're okay for monday. it is cold. that is what the weekend will be. one cloudy day, a little bit milder on sunday, but we could

start as a little bit of light snow in philadelphia, the suburbs, more hours of snow, maybe a couple inches in the lehigh valley. and the jersey shore and delaware all look to be rain. for the game itself, we're still looking at single digits to start the game, feels like temperatures down to ten below, and after the game, when the fans want to go out and celebrate, it will be about one below zero. i'm dan nny pommells. doug peterson and the army underdog are blasting through that. how he is being inspired by his own family members. that is next at 6:00.
